At present, a COP value of 1.9 for the compressor can meet the domestic first-level energy efficiency standard for refrigerators. As early as 2009, Dongbei Compressor won the second prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award with COP2.03. Dongbei has thus become the only compressor manufacturing enterprise to have received the National Science and Technology Progress Award to date. In 2021, the COP value of the 6th generation "VBF ultra-efficient" variable frequency compressor independently developed by Dongbei has reached 2.15. This internationally leading ultra-efficient variable frequency compressor was launched in bulk the following year. In 2023, the sales volume of Dongbei inverter compressors increased by 50%, with the majority being exported to European countries.
Any innovation in manufacturing will bring about a huge transformation to the entire industry. 2.03 is clearly not the end for Dongbei.
It took Dongbei five years from 2.03 to 2.05. It took Dongbei seven years from 2.05 to 2.15. From February 15th to February 18th, Dongbei has been striving for it for a full three years.
